Henny McClymont was born in Dresden, in the former
East Germany on June 15th, 1971, 18 years before the
fall of the Berlin Wall. The daughter of renowned sculptor,
Christian Paschold, grew up in an environment full of all
of the aspects of art and design. She began studies in 1989 at the Fachschule in Ohrdruf to become an orthopaedic technician. Although a very different discipline to the one she now practices it provided her with a fine
appreciation of human form through her studies of anatomy.

She completed her studies in June 1992, and went on to practice the profession for eight years. Following her
marriage to Donald McClymont in 1998 and subsequent
move to the United States, she rediscovered her interest
in Art through 2 years of study at Saddleback college under the tutelage of their respected faculty members.

Since early 2004 she has been a full time artist while
continuing her studies at Saddleback.
